About Pop-ity Popcorn Co.

Back in the 1930s, F.E. White started selling popcorn. He sold to local grocery stores under the brand name of F.E. White’s Pop-ity Popcorn. It was a very successful brand and became a name associated with quality popcorn. In 1976, the Vollmer family, keeping the tradition alive, purchased the business from F.E. White and continued selling to Michigan grocers and farmers markets.

In the 1980s when the grocery business became more competitive, the family saw the need for a new business model and began depending less on volume sales to grocers and diversified into the popcorn and concession equipment supply industry.

Today, Pop-ity Popcorn is providing great products and customer service. We love hearing when customers recognize the name and remember the history of our business.
